Tom Way

Tom is a professional award winning fine art wildlife photographer based in the UK. He has been awarded in various competitions with his most recent success being awarded in the European Wildlife Photographer Of The Year 2016 competition with his image ‘Beauty, Power, Majesty’.

His work is widely published and he is a contributor to the BBC Wildlife Magazine. Tom exhibits his images as large framed prints around the UK at art exhibitions and galleries.

Tom photographs both in the UK and overseas. Recent projects have seen Tom work with Meerkats in the Kalahari Desert, Mountain Gorillas in Uganda and Red Foxes in the UK.

Tom is regularly invited to speak at Camera Clubs, RSPB groups, and other wildlife organisations showing his latest work and describing the adventures he undertakes to capture his fine art images.

His biggest passion is Africa where he leads a number of photographic wildlife safaris in partnership with Busanga Safaris to destinations such as Zambia, Kenya and Uganda. Tom also guides for the UK’s leading photographic tour operator: Natures Images where he leads both UK and overseas trips to a whole host of destinations. Tom’s UK workshops are extremely popular and give people the opportunity to join Tom photographing Kingfishers, Red Deer, Little Owls and Red Foxes.

Tom uses Canon equipment with his preferred combination being a 1DX and 400mm.
