Maria Goñi
María is an artist from Pamplona in Navarre (Spain). She has always wanted to be a painter and managed to make her dream come true.
After taking painting at University of Basque Country she continued her studies and graduated in Fine Arts at University of Granada. Since then, she has been combining working in her own studio in the centre of Pamplona with giving painting courses and workshops in various public Art Centres in Navarre.
She loves painting portraits and figurative scenes but is also recognized for her landscapes and plein air art. She has won various prizes, had dozens of exhibitions and has many followers who keep an eager eye on her work.
Maria is warm and friendly, talented and ambitious, open-minded person who doesn’t forget that laugh is a great stress release. What is also important about her is her ability to pass her knowledge to her students. The only minus of it is that sometimes there is a waiting list to sign up for her classes!
