Björn Göttlicher

The work of Björn Göttlicher is based on the basic rules of Robert Capa and Martin Parr: "If the picture is not good, then you weren't close enough" and "To get some good pictures you have to take a lot of pictures".
After first analog shots and experiments, he intensively dealt with digital photography. He was concerned with aesthetic and philosophical questions of the medium. He also incorporates the expressive possibilities of the medium of film into his work. He relies on handcrafted, precisely planned photography with scope for spontaneity.
