This course at the Marsham Court Hotel on Bournemouth sea front will be a studio based event inclusive of three full days painting, There will be three different professional tutors/demonstrators each of whom will in addition to tutoring the days paints will on other days give live demonstrations. Your tutors Tony Hogan, Marilyn Allis and Lynn Rodgie are internationally recognised for their works. Each day you will have the opportunity to work with a different tutor learning their styles and techniques.

Your tutors:
Lynn Rodgie Having grown up in an artistic environment, Lynn studied at Grays School of Art Aberdeen. Her father, also an artist, has inspired and encouraged her throughout her life. Lynn is constantly inspired by her environment; the Scottish countryside around her provides an endless stream of ideas for her vibrant,expressive landscapes. From her studio in the scottish borders lynn produces work for a collection of scottish galleries and through working with DeMontfort fine art has recently been invited to be the gallery artist onboard the Queen Victoria and Elizabeth cruise ships.
Tony Hogan From his early training in the 60’s at Art College, Tony has dedicated his life to the art industry. Having first followed a successful career in advertising he then changed direction over 40 years ago to concentration on his real passion and focus as an independent professional Artist,Tutor and Demonstrator.
Throughout these many years he has been lucky enough to have made several television appearances, demonstrating techniques and art materials as well as producing commissions for programs such as Heartbeat. He is a regular contributor of articles for leading art magazines across a range of media and techniques. Previously a tutor of fine art degree courses for the O.C.A. Tony is internationally known for his easy relaxed way of helping and guiding those of all abilities in the media of their choice.
Marilyn Allis “Society for all Artists”, artist of the year 1999, launched her into a career in painting. She has exhibited in the RI London. She has taught now for 20 years. Gaining inspiration from traveling all over the world, and bringing this knowledge into her paintings. An excellent tutor, covering many subjects, people, animals, still life and more in a very loose impressionistic style. She has made many teaching art DVD’s, TV programs and is the author of 3 books, ‘People aren’t scary really, Animals on the loose’ & Painting Dorset in watercolour’
