Autumn in Languedoc is spectacular, you still have those special warm days, the light is softer, the colours glow. The vine leaves are red and orange, the land has cooled after the heat of summer and the shadows are long. We will visit mountain lakes and villages, paint the vineyards, the Canal du Midi and visit small town markets.
A beautiful time to visit the villages and market towns of L’Herault. Everything is waking up the vines are in full leaf, the tourists are arriving. Painting venues could include the mountain town of Minerve, Grau d’Agde where the river enters the Mediterranean Sea, St Chinian Market, Chateau Grezan Autignac’s own mini Carcassonne and the riverside village of Lunas.

Small groups and Linda’s methods of teaching mean she can engage mixed ability groups. She will encourage you to be inspired by your chosen subject, not to copy it. If you are an experienced painter who wishes to spend a few days with like minded people and no tuition you are very welcome too. Unless stated all holidays are in the media of your choice.
