A photographic journey from Connemara to North Antrim with Tim Mannakee & Gareth McCormack.

We start in Connemara in the North-West of Ireland. This remote, scenic region has beautiful mountains and lakes as well as a stunning coastline. We’ll photograph Ireland’s only fjord at Killary Harbour,  Kylemore Abbey as well as the Twelve Bens and Maumturk Mountains.

Our next port of call is Achill, Ireland’s largest offshore island.  It offers many wild and dramatic locations, from the secluded cove of Keem to the fabulous views from the Menawn cliffs. We’ll be spoilt for choice!

On to Donegal, home to the remote outposts of the Fanad and Rosguill peninsulas. We’ll split our time between Fanad Lighthouse, Great Pollet Sea Arch and the fabulous Boyeeghter Strand.

Our last destination is Antrim’s famous Causeway Coast, known for the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Giant’s Causeway where we’ll spend our time at sunrise and sunset. There is so much more to explore however, such as the twisted trees of the Black Hedges, the tiny harbour of Portbradden and Dunluce Castle.

Gareth has been photographing Ireland for over 20 years and his expert local knowledge will be invaluable. The tour is based at 4 different locations and will cover a variety of subjects  from architecture, daily life, landscape and coastline. There is a huge diversity in a relatively small area and we’ll do our best to get you to the best locations at the right time of day. There will be opportunities to shoot long exposures on the coast and both Tim and Gareth will be on hand to help you develop your skills.
