Marilyn will be teaching water colour with the added bonus of a day including the magic of Brusho. Based on the island of Kalymnos in the resort of Myrties at the charming Hermes Hotel where you are minutes from the beach and overlooking the tiny island of Telendos. Colourful boats and clear blues skies await you along with the best sunsets.
Kalymnos offers so much choice of interesting landscape, water, animals and even flowers , Marilyn will be on hand to guide and offer expert tuition. Some instructional time will be spent in the studio using Marilyns loose impressionistic style and other times plein air.
We will visit beaches including the iconic and inspiring Pirates Beach and the wonderful Vlachadia with its quirky Sea World Museum and, of course a ferry ride to Telendos where peace and tranquility reign and wherever we are we always try to make time for a swim.
The main town of Pothia is diverse with its architecture. A definite on our list. Maybe Nefeli Garden will capture your imagination with the added chance of a mean cocktail and a wonderful welcome from the owners.
