Kevin trained at Wimbledon School of Art and has worked for many years as a sucessful illustrator in advertising and publishing. He is an award winning artist and qualified tutor and is experienced in teaching in all mediums. His tuition is relaxed and supportiv and he encourages students to progress at their own pace, whilst learning new skills and, of course, to aksi gave fun. He tutors on painting holidays at home and abroad and runs regular art courses in the UK. He has led groups to Spain, Portugal, Morocco, India, France, Crete, Gozo, Turkey & Italy. He especially enjoys sharing his vast experience with others and his work encompasses a wide range of subject matter where he concentrates on working from direct observation to produce paintings that contain just the bare essentials and devoid of too much unnecessary detail. He writes regular articles for The Artist and Artists and Illustrators Magazine and is the author of several books on painting, including Drawing and Painting on Location and Painting Landscapes
Our art courses are fully inclusive and include everything from airport pickup from Bergerac, full board, including breakfast, light lunch & dinner... and of course tuition from our resident artist. You will have exculsive use of all everything at Gigan, including two heated pools, large grounds & bikes for the occasional moment of spare time!
