The FIESTADELARTE Workshops Abstract Painting and Painting Classes are aimed at all art interested people. Her experiences with artists and at the theater are an inspiring source of creativity. She also combines the learned philosophy of set design in the FIESTADELARTE art courses.
In this 3-day workshop, Mosaic Trencadis, you will learn the techniques of the Trencadis mosaic method invented by Antonio Gaudí. Processing and use of broken tile fragments, tile fragments and porcelain fragments.
1st day from 14.00h to 19.00h
Barcelona offers beach, sea and a fantastic downtown with mosaic architecture by Antonio Gaudi. Las Ramblas as a meeting place, La Boqueria (Mercat de Sant Josep) and a culinary journey together. The most famous, most beautiful and largest market hall in Barcelona irritates all the senses. No other tourist attraction is so integrated into the local everyday life. Continue with a walk on Las Ramblas and a tour of the architectural gem Casa Battló. In 2005 it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In addition, it became a landmark of Barcelona. Exploring the Barri Gotic district - the Gothic Quarter is on the way back. Here the history of Barcelona began as a Roman settlement Barcino. The former main roads still permeate the neighborhood today. Most of today's monuments date back to the 14th and 15th centuries, the heyday as a naval power.
2nd day from 08.00h to 16.00h
With the metro we drive early in the Gaudi Park GUELL. Here takes the mosaic course outdoor and individually place. The processing and use of broken tile fragments, tile fragments and porcelain fragments on a polystyrene ball. The diameter is about 20 cm and the attachment of the fragments is done with silicone glue. The visit to the famous Mosaic Park provides plenty of inspiration and motifs. The afternoon is at leisure. The property has the opportunity to continue working on their mosaic arts and crafts. The Trencadis ball and the mosaic material are brought to their accommodation.
3rd day from 09.00h to 12.00h and 13.00h - 17.00h
In the morning, we start grouting with cement of the mosaic ball. As well as the final polishing of the individual mosaic stones. Then you can get to know Barcelona with its day ticket Hop-on Hop-off on the open double decker bus! With this day ticket you can drive three bus routes. The blue route (Sagrada Familia) the red route with many interesting places and the green route (until 04.11.) to the beach Barcelonas. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the highlight of Barcelona: a visit to the Sagrada Familia Gaudi church. With a reserved ticket, without waiting at the entrance, this will be a wonderful visit. A lot of time should be taken in visiting the details of the facades, where many messages and biblical stories are hidden.
