Cornwall
Cornwall is a stunning region in South West England. It is characterized by the warmth of the gulf stream and landscapes with amazing contrasts. The region has a very mild climate with an annual rainfall similar to Aachen. You can walk on long sandy beaches with palm trees and crystal clear water for miles.
You can take a walk along the famous South West Coast Path, which stretches along the Cornwall coast. During your walk you can visit fascinating gardens such as Heligan or Trebah, where subtropical flowers are not uncommon.
In addition to all the natural beauty you may want to experience a magical trip to the historical Tintagle Castle.
Tintagle Castle is shrouded in legends and mystery. It is said to be the birthplace of King Arthur where you can still visit his friend Merlin’s cave. Furthermore the tale of Tristan and Isolde is said to have originated there. Tintagle Castle and village are definitely one of the most iconic visitor attractions in the South West.
